Ronda, Andalucia 12 April

Plaza de Toros - We visited the Bullfighting Ring in Ronda and also the museum of bullfighting. The ring was built in 1785 and many famous matadors have fought bulls there. It was the first ring to be built for bullfights.Ronda is where bullfighting started. We were able to explore all over - we sat in the sun (sol) and shade (sombra) - up and down the seats. We walked across the ring and saw where the bullls are penned before the fights. The matador's costume is very beautiful. Later we drove to Mijas and there was a bullfight starting in their Plaza de Toros but it cost a lot of money 45-120 euros each ($90-240) so we sat outside for a while and listened to the crowd.
